When dropping off your child in the morning, please be sure to ring the bell at the front door. The front doors of our facility and side doors are always locked in accordance with our security system, for the safety and security of your child. Upon drop off, we ask you to walk your child to his/her classroom, and place his/her belongings in their cubby. Early drop-off hours are from 6 am to 7 am, late pick-up is from 6 pm to 6 30 pm.
It is important for us to maintain your child's safety, hence if an emergency arises and you cannot pick up your child, a written permission must be provided for an alternative individual as well as photo ID of your child.
Your child's safety is our priority! Our staff will release your child only to the person recorded on the release form provided by the parent. If an emergency arises, the parent must provide a written, signed note giving the person permission to pick-up their child. Our staff will request to check ID's of anyone whom they do not recognize.
In the event of a fire, staff must follow the written instructions posted in each classroom, describing emergency evacuation routes, and assure that children have arrived at the designated spot. In order to prepare children for the unlikely need to evacuate, the center will conduct periodic fire drills. Should we need to evacuate due to fire, weather conditions, the loss of power, heat, or water, our emergency destination is in the front of the building near the fence. If the immediate area must be evacuated we will evacuate to Simply Kids across the street.
At World Class Kids, there is always one staff member present that has received training in First Aid and CPR.
